What is your Korean name? ๐Ÿฅฐ

Hey everyone, my name in Korean is ๋งˆ๋ฆฐ, which is a simple transliteration of my name Marine.

In my previous Flexi lesson I learned how to say my name is in Korean, which is THE phrase to know so you can introduce yourself:

Formal: ์ œ ์ด๋ฆ„์€ XX์ž…๋‹ˆ๋‹ค (je ireumeun XX imnida)
Polite: ์ œ ์ด๋ฆ„์€ XX์ด์—์š” (je ireumeun XX ieyo)
Informal: ๋‚ด ์ด๋ฆ„์€ XX์ด์•ผ (nae ireumeun XX iya)

So now here is my question to you:

์ด๋ฆ„์ด ๋ญ์—์š”? (ireumi mwo-eyo?) What is your name? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

PS - you can get your own Korean name by using LTLโ€™s Korean Name Generator here!

My homestay in Korea taught me rather than Max with a hard A, my name is more like Mex because Koreanโ€™s use the American pronunciation rather than English.

Therefore rather than ๋ง‰์Šค it should be pronounced and written as ๋งฅ์Šค (maek seu).

์ œ ์ด๋ฆ„์€ ๋งฅ์Šค ์ž…๋‹ˆ๋‹ค
