Hey everyone, my name in Korean is 마린, which is a simple transliteration of my name Marine.

In my previous Flexi lesson I learned how to say my name is in Korean, which is THE phrase to know so you can introduce yourself:

Formal: 제 이름은 XX입니다 (je ireumeun XX imnida)
Polite: 제 이름은 XX이에요 (je ireumeun XX ieyo)

제 이름은 XX입니다

My homestay in Korea taught me rather than Max with a hard A, my name is more like Mex because Korean’s use the American pronunciation rather than English.

Therefore rather than 막스 it should be pronounced and written as 맥스 (maek seu).
