What is Chuan (串) and where to find it

I’m in 甘肃，兰州 Gansu,Lanzhou this week for work, so I am going for 串儿 tonight(and tomorrow). Found your article and going to try and up my 串儿 game a little!

I enjoyed the video made by our friends Nata and Tina, a great insight into Chuan’r and a recommended watch.

I have hugely found memories of “Chuan’r Nights” on the streets of Shenyang back in 2014 when I first went to China. Superb tradition and one I always cherish.

I had a great time in 兰州 unfortunately it was just a few days and mostly working, only had evenings free. Heres a few pics though:
