What are your favorite Chrome extensions in 2024? Why?

Hi everyone! I’m always looking for tools to improve my browsing experience, productivity, and overall workflow. Here are some of my favorite Chrome extensions right now:

  1. Grammarly – I use this all the time for writing emails, articles, and social media posts. It helps me catch grammar mistakes and improve my writing style. It’s a must-have for anyone who writes frequently!
  2. MyEssayWriter.ai – As a student and writer, this tool is super helpful for generating essays, paraphrasing text, and even checking for plagiarism. It’s like having an AI-powered writing assistant right in my browser.
  3. QuillBot – This one is a game-changer for paraphrasing and rewording sentences. It’s especially useful when I need to avoid repetition or improve clarity in my writing.
  4. Loom – Perfect for creating quick video tutorials or sharing feedback on projects. I love that I can record my screen and webcam simultaneously, making it easier to communicate visually.
  5. Evernote Web Clipper – I use this to save articles, images, and websites that I might want to read or reference later. It syncs seamlessly across all my devices.
  6. ChatGPT Search – Having ChatGPT right in my browser for quick answers is incredibly helpful, especially for brainstorming or when I need a fast explanation on a topic.
  7. Honey – A lifesaver for online shopping! It automatically finds and applies the best coupon codes at checkout, helping me save money.
  8. LastPass – I don’t have to worry about remembering all my passwords anymore. LastPass securely stores everything, and I can autofill login details across sites.
  9. Dark Reader – If you’re someone who spends a lot of time online, this extension is perfect for reducing eye strain. It turns every website into dark mode, which is way easier on the eyes, especially at night.
  10. Rakuten – This one helps me earn cashback on my online purchases. It’s super easy to use and works with a ton of major retailers.

What are your go-to Chrome extensions? I’d love to hear your recommendations!

Thank you for sharing! Lately, I’ve been very interested in AI tools. Besides ChatGPT, are there any other tools you use? I’d love to hear about them and how you leverage their features.

Great list, thanks for sharing! I also have a few of these extensions in my arsenal - especially Grammarly, Loom and Dark Reader, I can’t imagine my daily work without them

I want to add another tool that I actively use - Overchat AI. It’s not exactly an extension, but an incredibly convenient web service: it allows you to communicate with several AI models at once in one window. I often use it to compare answers, generate ideas and even create images - all in one place, which saves a lot of time and helps in productive work.

If anyone works with AI in everyday tasks, I recommend trying it. What other AI tools do you use in the browser?

Thanks so much for sharing. I am trying to utilize AI as much as possible in my work so I’ll try with overchat AI

The only two I consistently use are Rakuten and Language Reactor.
