Traditional Mandarin Level for Course Selection

Hey Everyone,
I have been learning Chinese for about 2-3 months now and have completed HSK 1 in simplified characters. But given that fact that I am moving to Taiwan, I wish to make a switch to traditional characters.

Would I feel comfortable with A1+ course or should I choose to stick with A1 itself?

Is the medium of teaching in classes solely Chinese or do the faculty use English as well?

Thank You!

Hi @Aman-Mandarin_Simplified_Intro , welcome to our forum.

I would suggest booking your first class at the A1 level. If you find the material easy, you can then proceed to book your subsequent classes at the A1+ level. There may be certain topics at the A1 level that you are interested in and still require basic vocabulary. You can refer to the “my level” page to review the curriculum.

During the lessons, the teachers will primarily speak in Chinese. However, if you don’t understand something, feel free to ask them to translate it into English.
