Thank You in Korean ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Lately I discovered thereโ€™re so many different ways of saying thank you in Korean!

Hereโ€™s just some of them:

  • ๊ฐ์‚ฌํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค - gamsahabnida (formal high)
  • ๊ณ ๋งˆ์›Œ์š” - gomawoyo (informal)
  • ๊ณ ๋งˆ์›Œ - gomawo
  • ๊ฐ์‚ฌ - gamsa
  • ใ„ฑใ…… - gs (slang)

Which one do you usually use more?

We also have an interesting blog about the most recent Korean texting slang || Korean Texting [2024] // 47 Slang Text Terms (From ใ…‹ใ…‹ to ใ„ฑใ……)

This is new! Never discovered this during my time in Seoul

Canโ€™t beat the classic ๊ฐ์‚ฌํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค although I feel ๊ณ ๋งˆ์›Œ is used a lot more when I listened into other tables conversations at restaurants

I used ๊ฐ์‚ฌํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค absolutely everywhere with everyone in Seoul, just in case, I donโ€™t want to seem rude ever
