Suggestion to build student help section

We are currently working on a new student help section for our learning platform. We really want to make sure that we’ve got everything covered, so we would love to hear your thoughts on what kinds of categories and questions you typically have when studying on our system.

We’ve already got a demo design ready, but we’re not sure if this is the best way for you to search for information on the help page.

  1. Would you prefer if we grouped questions into more general topics like class management, account settings, and forum and put the current ones into smaller topics for students to easily see the structure?

  2. We’re also trying to figure out how best to display popular articles on the page without making it too cluttered. Do you think it would be helpful to have them there, or would it just make things too busy?

  3. Most importantly, though, we want to hear from you. What questions do you frequently have while using our platform?

Any input you have will be incredibly valuable to us as we work on this.
