Favourite Chinese Accent?

I love Guilin and can second the comment from John!

I’ll always remember my first taxi journey… I thought I’d arrived in a different country, hit me hard that one

In Guilin, I studied at the Chinese Language Institute. (CLI)
It has a loose affiliation with Virginia Tech in the USA and Guangxi Normal University in China.
You can set up classes there starting any Monday during the year.
I did a four week course.
Guilin is a beautiful city, lots of natural scenic beauty to enjoy.
It’s small by Chinese standards, so it’s easy to get around.
I even went to a Catholic church service in downtown Guilin when I was there.

After a total of 7 years in Beijing… the 儿er the language, the more at home I feel!
