Faces with letters

Does this face look familiar? Must have seen it somewhere?
Maybe in the anime Naruto? This is the picture on the Kakashi’s ninja dogs’ backs.

This face is the so-call henohenomoheji face. The face is drawn with 7 Hiragana letters へのへのもへじ. It is said to be come very popular during the Edo period.

I have seen this face many times, but now I actually understand how to draw it. :))

Maybe you should try to draw this へのへのもへじ. Or some other ones like へへし and るとくとし. And share the pictures with me in the comments?

Love creative stuff like this. When I first saw the picture I did think it reminded me of Hiragana.

I wonder if we can create a thread of similar pictures and images using our favourite alphabets… Korean, Japanese, Chinese etc
