Easy Spanish Songs for Learners // Any recommendations?

Hola a todos!

I’m looking for some easy Spanish songs that are great for learners. Songs with clear pronunciation and simple lyrics would be perfect - so would anything catchy that I’d want to listen to over and over!

I already added the 10 from this list of easy Spanish songs, my favourites so far are:

:musical_note: Bailando by Enrique Iglesias
:musical_note: Vivir Mi Vida by Marc Anthony
:musical_note: Me Olvidé de Vivir by Julio Iglesias

Do you have any favorites that helped you improve your Spanish? I’d love to add more to my playlist! :headphones::dancer:

@JoelPe as a native Spanish speaker, maybe you can recommend some songs to Hannah

My friend made me discover Bad Bunny and I like the song called DtMF

If you’re trying to learn Spanish through songs, you cannot miss Manu Chao!

I used to listen to him when I was a kid with my grandma, and I still love his songs.

I started out with Luis Miguel – his Romances 1, 2, 3, etc. are not only lovely songs, but well performed, and they are slow enough you can go through lyrics, and then more and more catch on to what they are saying.

While I’m almost exclusively listening to Mandarin music and shows for the last year, when I do listen to Spanish music, I most often listen to Colombian music as I lived there. Fonseca, Shakira, Carlos Vives, Silvestre Dagon, Andres Cepeda, Juanes, Greeicy, Fanny Lu and others are my general favorites. I like more modern Colombian Vallenato music a lot. It is not as slow as the romance series I mentioned, but especially the more romantic, symphony accompanied music by Fonseca is fairly easy to follow. Aside from unique colloquialisms, Colombian Spanish tends to use more of a j sound instead of y for ll but it is fairly cleanly spoken and easy to follow. I also spent a lot of time watching novelas but while some were quite enjoyable, they were definitely not up to pace with C-dramas in enjoyment level… but you can pick up a lot of cool lingo, or even just cool ways of saying basic phrases in a more native, nuanced way. Suerte!
