Any Chefs Out There?

Wanted to share this superb article @Katie wrote about Chinese Sauces.

Over 5,000 words covering all the main Chinese sauces and pastes used in cooking.

I have a Chinese supermarket here and I normally just buy the ones that look appealing and throw them into a dish (I know, awful behaviour) but I’m definitely going to get clued up on my cooking and improve using these.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to find these products in my area! Countryside life.

However my absolute favourite in Beijing was the Sweet bean sauce 甜面酱 tiánmiànjiàng that I used to put in a lot of dishes too :sweat_smile:
