I like this summary a lot, and having studied all 3 for various amounts of time I feel this to be true.
It’s great to be able to read Korean easily, but that’s about as much joy as you’ll get as a beginner!
The locals are very unforgiving when speaking Korean, they very rarely slow down for you IRL situations!
