Whilst this is an old thread -
curious if the suggestion of having a page at end of lesson which lists all new words and sample sentence?
Words by itself are hard to remember and especially the usage.
- Reviewing the annotated class pdfs are okay - different teachers different styles + recording.
better would be the base class notes supplemented with vocab + example sentences.
For Vietnamese there is a deck called xefjord and memrise optimized. They are immensely helpful memorising core words and categories. The sentences make it stick.
The ideal is to have LTL class notes that could be thrown into Anki with minimal effort… (especially for people working full time)….
In class, teachers usually ask students to create sentences with new words, which are noted on slides or found in contextual dialogues.
By “last page,” do you mean a summary of new words and sample sentences from the lesson, or a separate list of new words with additional sample sentences not included in the main content?
